The fastest way to get to Gliwice is from airport in Katowice. From there you can get to the centre of Katowice, and the railway station by MPL busses.

The trains go usually every half an hour, I don't advise to use the bus on this journey, as the trains are better way to get to Gliwice from Katowice. Trains go usually about 30-35mins.

If your airplane goes to Warszawa, you can get to the railway station by bus no 175, or by a taxi (about 20zl)

You also might want to fly to Krakow, then you will get to Balice airport, and from there u can use a private airport train line to the railway station, which is about 200m from the terminal, or take the bus no 192, from the bussstop near the terminal, which also allows you to get to the railway station, or take a taxi to the city centre, the cost would be probably 50zl.
